Duke of Edinburgh Program

RNS is proud to offer all students the opportunity to earn the prestigious Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, an international program for students who share a commitment to personal development and responsibility.

The program is comprised of community service, challenge adventure, skill development, and international understanding, and operates in more than 100 countries around the world.

All Grade 9 students are enrolled in the Duke of Edinburgh Program through their Discovery classes and are provided opportunities through RNS Outdoors to earn the Bronze Level of achievement. The program is optional for students in Grades 10 through 12, providing them the opportunity to pursue the Silver and Gold Levels of achievement.
