At RNS, our concepts of diversity, equity, and inclusion are rooted in the idea of pluralism, which we define in the following way:

RNS is committed to creating a culture of mutual respect, understanding, and learning amongst people who self-identify in different ways. We strive to function with greater peace and productivity while preserving individuality. To promote social justice, special attention must be paid to those who are unfairly marginalized and we must change systems and structures that contribute to oppression.

Land Acknowledgement Statement

Rothesay Netherwood School is located on the traditional territory of the Wolastoqiyik and Mi’kmaq Peoples. We are honoured to share this place, and as a school community, we are committed to being responsible stewards of the land on which we live, teach, and learn, both today and for future generations.
